About us
PickMyMonitor is an independent project devoted to one thing: making the choice of a gaming monitor stop being an act of faith.
Why it exists
Looking for a monitor today means opening fifteen tabs where every manufacturer presents its figures as it suits them, with different units, with specifications that sound identical and mean different things, and with labels like «HDR» that on two monitors at the same price can mean everything or absolutely nothing.
Our job is to translate all of that into a common, comparable format, and to say plainly where the catch is when there is one.
How we work
Every monitor in the catalogue is stored as a record with the same sixteen technical fields and seven scores, calculated by the same rule for all of them. That is what makes the comparator meaningful: we are not putting marketing copy side by side, we are putting equivalent data head to head.
The full methodology is published on the how we score page. If you think a figure is wrong, write to us: correcting it is more useful than defending it.
Independence
We do not work with any monitor brand. We are funded by commissions from the Amazon affiliate programme and by advertising, and neither depends on which particular monitor we recommend.
You can read the details in the affiliate disclosure.
