What separates the tiers is not only price: it is what you give up at each step.

Entry-level tier

Under €150

The first jump that genuinely counts. This is where you leave the 60 Hz office panel behind and land on 165-240 Hz for less than a game plus a controller. You give up resolution and real HDR, not smoothness.

Mid-range tier

€150 - 350

Where 80 % of the good purchases live. QHD at 27 inches, 180-200 Hz and a fast IPS panel: enough resolution for the desktop to breathe and enough refresh for no game to feel sluggish.

How we do this

Normalised data

One maker writes «1 ms MPRT», another «1ms GtG». We move them all into the same field with the same unit, which is the only way a comparison means anything.

Gaps we leave empty

If a figure is unpublished or we cannot verify it, you get a dash. We never fill a cell with an estimate just to make the table look complete.

Scores you can audit

The seven radar scores come out of the specifications following a public rule you can read in how we score.

How we are funded

Through Amazon commissions and advertising. No brand pays to appear or to climb a list. If a monitor has a flaw, it is written in its review.
