LG built this monitor around a simple idea: the size and resolution most competitive players still prefer, with enough refresh rate for motion to feel modern, and without paying for anything else.

The IPS panel is what separates it from cheaper rivals. Colour is more accurate, viewing angles do not degrade the image and text looks clean, all of which suffer on a similarly priced VA. Contrast, though, is the usual 1000:1, so blacks are dark grey.

The obvious cut is the stand, which only tilts. If you spend long hours at the desk, plan on raising it or fitting an arm. At 24 inches and Full HD the density sits around 92 pixels per inch, enough that nothing looks coarse at normal desk distance.

Best for: Anyone coming from 60 Hz who plays shooters and wants to spend as little as possible without a poor panel.
