This is the direct alternative to the cheap curved VA, and the choice depends on what you do in front of the screen. If you also edit a photo, touch up a video, or simply hate watching colours shift when you look from an angle, this MSI's IPS is the right road.

The 24.5-inch size is deliberate: it is the esports tournament standard precisely because the whole screen fits inside your field of view without moving your head. In a competitive shooter that matters more than extra inches. The trade-off is the usual one at this price: one DisplayPort, one HDMI, and a stand that only tilts.
